Social Distancing at the Heritage Centre

Regrettably on the 13th March 2020 we decided to close the Wye Heritage Centre in order to reduce the risk of spreading the virus. As our heritage centre is small, it is just not possible to adhere to current social distancing requirements. We are working hard behind the scenes to re-open the centre and hope to fling open our doors and enthusiastically welcome visitors again later in the year.

In the meantime, we trialled opening with a limited number of  members working on the archives.  That worked well, but now that we are in the second lock down we have had to temporarily suspended that activity. When we are able to re-open and if you would like to come and work on your heritage project or access items from our archive, please contact Francis to arrange.

We are also taking the opportunity to re-catalogue our collections and to prepare exhibitions for display when we re-open. We will be in touch via email when we are ready to open again.

We hope to see you very soon and wish you and your families well.
